The hidden half of domestic violence
March for Life
Abortion has been a hot subject for many years. While some of those who picket abortion clinics have been rude and abusive to women who go into them and have called these women "murders" it is those who promote this so called "pro choice" or "pro women's rights" people agenda that are the murders as most of the actual women that have the abortions are actually victims themselves.
Most abortion clinics have less
"informed consent' rules then dentist to pull a tooth. Many are actually
based upon lies, one of the biggest one is that the woman (especially a
teenager) is pregnant to begin with. It has come from those that worked in or
ran abortion clinics that often a teenager who came in for a pregnancy test
were told that it was postive and an abortion was set up for her within a few
day. They went through the motions for an abortion but none really took place
as the test was negative.
Most do not realize but abortion is far more about control and money then
anything else.
The rape and incest idea is a lie too....According to Planned Parenthood's own
research arm, about 13,000 abortions each year are attributed to rape and
incest—representing a mere 1 percent of all abortions
Even smaller numbers represent cases where abortion was indicated to save the
mother's life, despite the fact that saving the mother has served as a pillar
for apologists of unfettered abortion rights.
Roe vs Wade itself was based upon a lie:
According to an article published in Focus on Family magazine, 30 Years of
Lies, the plaintiff for the Roe v. Wade case, Norma McCorvey, never even got
an abortion after lying to her lawyers about being gang-raped. "When she
found out the case went all the
way to the Supreme Court and resulted in legalizing abortion in all 50 states,
she was stunned" and attempted suicide, writes Tom Neven. Sandra Cano,
the "Doe" of the companion case known as Doe v. Bolton, claims that
she was played as a pawn by her lawyer, who surreptitiously had her sign an affidavit
stating that "she had applied for an abortion, had been turned down and
had therefore sued the state of Georgia.... This is a lie," states Cano.
She was even opposed to abortion, so the case was not even representative of
her
views. Both women have begun new lives as followers of Christ and are seeking
to have their infamous cases overturned as part of a campaign called Operation
Outcry.

Most of all, we need to ask...what does
GOD say about abortion...does HE allow abortion even for rape or incest (which
is a very rare reason for abortion)

Abortion is wrong, therefore, because it is a failure to love, appreciate, and
care for a human baby. It is also wrong because it constitutes the deliberate
killing of an innocent human being. When people defend abortion, their
arguments should always be evaluated
in light of the fact that the unborn baby is a human being, a separate
individual from its mother. Therefore, deliberately killing it would be just
as wrong as killing any other innocent human being. What should a woman do if
she has aborted a baby and now realizes
she did wrong? She does not need to spend the rest of her life with the burden
of unforgiving guilt. The Bible says abortion is wrong, but it also offers a
source of true forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ. God will forgive
if we will come to Him according to His conditions. Read and obey these
passages: Rom. 1:16; 6:3,4; 10:9,10; Mark 16:16; Acts 17:30; 2:38; 22:16.

To be honest, there is one site that says:
Why Abortion is Biblical
http://www.elroy.net/ehr/abortion.html
The author states Today I continue to believe in a loving God, but I can no
longer claim the Bible to be his Word and goes on to say I also find no
problem with homosexuality. It is a naturally-occurring part of life, and the
use of the Bible to condemn, harass and
belittle homosexuals is just plain evil. I wrote more about this in the
article called When Christ was Gay.
Umm it sounds like this author does a lot of .."did God really
say....."
Abortion is also a very powerful political tool. One has only to look at the
ones that demand abortion be kept legal. They use fear to do so. We hear about
how many women would die in back alley abortions if it were illegal but we
sure do not hear how many die from legal abortions because often the cause of
death is masked by something else.
One thing we seldom hear about also is that it is used to control. As it is, a
woman who does not want to be bothered with a child can abort it, or in most
states now, give it up by leaving it at a fire station, hospital or other
authorized locations no questions ask...not even who is the father and does he
want this child.
We hear about choice...but the choice only belongs to one side. If she does
not want the baby...well bye bye baby even if the father wants it. However, if
he does not want to be burdened with the responsibility of a baby...tough luck
because she can have that baby
and force him to pay for that child for 18 or more years or she can abort it
even if he does want it. A Christian prolife ministry has shown that more
fathers who had a child aborted on them were remorseful then the women who
aborted them.

In reading President Bush's recent message to the anti-abortion rally about
protecting "the lives of innocent children waiting to be born," I
was struck by the lack of mention of the father's complete inability to
protect his own unborn child. In fact, no one seems to
acknowledge a father's rights to have a say in whether his child gets to live.
one voice continues to be unheard -- that of the fathers of unborn children.
As a family law attorney, I work daily with anguished fathers who have little
or no say in the lives of their children. The agony of these men becomes
unimaginable when the child is not yet born and they have no way of protecting
the life they helped to create.

Third is the decision to get the abortion. As proof of male irresponsibility,
people like to cite Carol Gilligan's famous study, In a Different Voice, which
found that in one-third of cases, the father influenced the woman's decision
to get the abortion.
But citing this and similar studies reverses the argument. If the decision to
get an abortion rests with the father one-third of the time, then clearly, the
woman has made the decision in the other two- thirds of the cases.
But even Gilligan's one-third figure is suspect. A few years ago, Arthur
Shostak and Gary McLouth interviewed 1,000 fathers of aborted children. Their
book, Men and Abortion: Lessons, Losses, and Love reveals that only 4% of the
women had been opposed to getting the abortion in the first place.
So the myth that women get an abortion because of coercion by marauding sexual
predators is an urban legend that serves to shield us from one simple fact:
abortion is by and large a female-dominated decision.
The fetus that resides within the mother's womb inherits half of its genetic
material from the father. But as a result of Roe v. Wade, fathers have no
standing under reproductive law. Women, married or not, have no duty to
consult with, or even inform the father about
the abortion. And this is exactly what happens 15% of the time. Fathers have
been biologically disenfranchised.
It is a truism that rights and responsibilities go hand in hand. When rights
recede, responsibilities also diminish. Thus deprived of their fundamental
biological rights, is it possible that Roe v. Wade also may have intruded on
men's basic sense of familial obligation?

To conclude, I am very much pro life too...but I do not know very many pro
lifers that are so insensitive that they would rant and rave to a person who
had an abortion telling her she is a murder and a baby killer. Yes, often a
prolifer will call the abortion industry baby killers but most recognize that
the women having abortions have not been given informed consent. They are not
told that most women who have abortions will often regret it down the road,
that they can often have physical problems as a result. They are not told that
5 years later, when looking a a group of 5 year olds at play, they may well
wonder...what would my baby have been like.
I personally have talked to many women who had abortions as well as many
fathers. Many of these men and women were still hurting decades later and
still had problems forgiven themselves.
A few years ago, we held a memorial service to help some of these people heal
from these scars.

Many of our precious children were aborted deliberately. Some thorough not
choice of the mother, Some through their choice. We want everyone to know
there is HEALING in the Lord. Upon our confession to the Lord for this, HE
forgave. Now you need to forgive yourself.
Some of the women that last a baby due to abortion were but children
themselves at the time and they were forced to have the abortion by adults.
Some were forced to have the baby so the baby could literally be used for
sacrifice. I have talked to women in both these groups and I have heard a
recurrent theme. "I could not protect them. Some have felt guilty for
years. Other parents may feel guilty for the lost of a teenager because they
allowed the teen
to go out and they were killed in a traffic accident. My friends, this is
loves unseen enemy, It is false guilt. Please read
