How to have eternal life

Entertaining Angels

Hebrews 13

1 Let brotherly love continue.
2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

In the last few weeks, I and several of my friends feel we have been visited by an angel. I will admit however that there are those that do not think so but regardless of who this person was, we do know it was a miracle from GOD that he was here for this all too brief a time.

Some considerations to think about:

1: He came out of no where. He never had a Yahoo Id before and was never in any groups until he joined this one specific group
2: He focused on one small group out of over 750 groups in that same category...a
group that did not have anyone to moderate it and which had a major problem going in it.
3: From what we could see, he knew about this problem before he got here.
4: He stated he was here on a mission from His Father.
5: He told several people things about themselves that he would have not had a way of known, including the full name of one person and her family.
6: Love was the recurrent theme of all of his messages to a person that was posting hate for anyone and everyone that disagreed with him. This message of love was given to each of us as the only way to respond to this hate that would matter.
7: There has always been a feeling of peace whenever we were talking to him.

Last Sunday, I felt the topic for our chat needed to be "Angels UnAware"  Shortly after posting the chat topic, I was very pleasantly surprised to get this IM:

"My friend, may I have a special invitation to your chat tonight?  I have a special word for you and yours"

This was from Monk, our very special guest.  It is not the purpose of this message to tell you this was or was not an angel.  I will leave that to each of you to decide but we do have an important message to bring you concerning this.

Monk:  My duty is now done. farewell and may God bless you always  I came with one calling from God, one duty. It has been completed. Only David can decide for himself now  It was not for me to be here, but to do what God told me to do. It is finished  Fear not, God will be with you and will bless you in ways you can not even see right now. he has a wondrous ministry for you, but you must wait upon Him

This is the special word Monk had for us in chat Sunday February 27th 2005   I have edited out the names of those that were present but many asked questions.  Some of the statements are a reply to those questions.  For those who feel they are missing something...I have one suggestion.  Do not miss the SM chats.  We never know what to expect.

Greetings I want to thank you for the invitation, I only have a few minutes,

I came her with a mission, a duty from my Father as Ken said to reach a man, named David

David has brought pain and hurt to many here, and I am sorry for the suffereing many have gone through but my word is to YOU tonight : and that is to remember above all things, that the father loves you. He knows the pain you go through

Remember what was written in 1 Cor 13 4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8Love never fails.

When you surround the lost with love, both your and that of the Father you will see miracles
Love IS patient   It is not rude  We lose sight at times when we are attacked, when we are hurt, but remember our Lord Jesus the Christ suffered that same, and more

But it is the love that God allows to permate us that will bring you peace

Yes  it IS hard  but God never promised us an easy walk  God will NEVER allow you to suffer more than you are able to take. Because God is with you

I ask a special favor from you all pray for the David's of the world   If we gather together and pray, God will bless you all the more

Ken, you have a special calling for this mission, and it pleases my heart. be faithful to your heart always

Praying and getting involved Are two different things,  but God will place those He desire to be involved in place'  God has a plan for David that will be brought to fruitation, we are to pray for the plan

Do you believe David is a Christian, as he claims?  (answer:  nope because his fruit don't show)  Exactly, but we ARE still to love. Jesus was attacked, beaten, and murdered, but what did He ask while on the cross?  Father forgive

Question from the group:   Monk what about the ones who don't want help? do we leave them be and not talk to them or show them our love?

Monk's reply:   Always show love. We are told to preach to all nations, bring to the Father, but in the end it is the Hand of God that saves, not our own  When the pet bites, rebuke it, but show it love as well  David  has deep wounds in his life. He does not know love, and has been abused and hurt. All the more to drown him in the Love of God  but the mission is not to David alone. Post a message of Love that David can read, but at the same time be a blessing to all

I have read David's posts, yes  I know he lies and returns all to often. it is the only place he can see love, though he can't accept it  God brings him to you for a reason, to see and learn love

(Another question for Monk:)  Monk how do you handle the slams, I know Jesus said not a word but I am always so afraid as they get so many to follow in their error how to save the others is my pain.

Monks answer:  Do you believe God will allow one to be lost because of the words of David

God has a plan to all who meet on these groups. David, in his misguided doctrine will not destroy the plans of my Father

There is a time when we must take a break from the group then, to pray with your loved  one and then return when the peace and love is restored

I want to say this, you are all very special to Him, rest in the fact He is with you always and is aware of your hurts, pains and joys

My friends, please forgive me, but the amount of questions are too many for me. I must go, but please I will be around for one more day, please IM me personally so I may be blessed with person time with each of you  I ask your forgiveness for having to leave but please remember He will keep you all in His hands.

Can you have prayer with us before you leave?

My Father, I pray that you will be with and guide each one here
They all love and seek you Lord, and we all have hurts, but your grace and power is more than any need  Protect us from evil, guide us in love, and place someone in our paths daily that we might touch for you In your Holy and Powerful, loving name I seek this, amen and amen

Bless you all, be with God always  and thank you for the chance to speak a little

Once again, I will not tell you that Monk was an angel, I will leave that for you to decided.   I do know that the Word of God tells us that it is possible that we could be entertaining an angel without knowing it.  If it is possible, I assure you it has happened.  I am not sure of the purpose for this other then to keep us on our toes.

I contend there is a much more important reason to be a doer of the Word then to do it because it could be an angel.  Look at this:

Matthew 25
35   For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36   Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37  Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred,
and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38   When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39   Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40   And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41  Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42  For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43   I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44   Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45   Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

Let us consider some of our modern ideas on some of this:

For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat
I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink

How often do we think that those that are hungry are just too lazy to work?  We might even quote 2 Thessalonians 3:10:  For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat and we feel justified in not helping them.  After all, we are just obeying the Bible are we not?

Yes, there are those who chose not to work, but look around, there are many who do not work because they can not find a job.  Often our own society pushed them to this point.  We have seen many in Shattered Men that were ordered to pay so much child support that they did not have enough to live on after paying it.  In "Do the Math" we show this.  Yet we do have to  be wise stewards of God's provisions.   There are some that will scam well meaning Christians.  Some of gone from one church to another to get hand outs until they are told they can not get anything else.  This in no way negates those in real need, and our responsibly to help them.  We do need to pray for discernment to know one from the other.  In the absence of this discernment.  our responsibly is to do what GOD tells us to do, not for the result.

I was a stranger, and ye took me in

Oh no, not me!  No way am I going to open my house to a stranger.  Who knows...they may be a serial killer or worse.  Why do you know if we let them in, we will never get them out?  My friend, why is this scripture here?  Yes, many of the things above can and do happen.  We may have a hard time getting them out...but why not set limits if we see someone in need?  Let them stay for a certain time period.  Why?  Consider this.  If one is homeless through no fault of their own, it will be almost impossible to get a job.  To do so almost always requires an address.  The rescue mission simply does not do the job.  They may need to be able to clean up and look presentable to get a job.  They may need a phone so they can be notified but most potential employers will not phone a rescue mission.  Once again, discernment is required to be a doer of the Word.

I was Naked, and ye clothed me

Oh...Look at that PERVERT!   You do not expect ME to approach them do you?   My friend, the Good Samaritan did.  He found a person that was left naked and left for dead.  More to the point, the person he helped most likely would not have given him the time of day if the situation were reversed   Ahh yes...more discernment is need because there are perverts around.

I was sick and you visited me

What and catch what they have?  NO Way José    Just a moment...who is in control?  No I am not suggesting that we willfully expose ourselves to contagious diseases without taking the needed precautions. but often a hospital is a very lonely place, especially for our elderly.  Oh  we do not even need to go to the hospital.  There are many right here on the internet that are on the net because they can not get out of the house.  They are homebound because of major health problems.  Visit them.  Take time to get to know them and ask about their burdens...and share them and as you do, share yours with them because often it will help them to know that GOD can use them to help someone else.

I was in prison, and ye came unto me

Yea...that scumbag deserves every day they got!  Really now?  What about those who were falsely accused?    I have gotten letters from some that we arrested, tried and convicted of raping their own wife but I am positive it was consensual  as this persons wife went and got a divorce as soon as the conviction occurred and move in with...her girlfriend.   We even had a member of Shattered Men accuse a man of sexually assaulting her but it was discovered that it was consensual...twice.  The fact is that there are many men and some women I am sure that are in prison because they have been falsely accused.  We have seen several in this ministry  that were planning on taking their own life within a very short time, but found someone that would believe them.  No you may not be able to go to a prison and visit someone, but you can listen if someone does talk to you about legal problems they are going through.   Yes, we are told that everyone in prison claims they are innocent...but remember...many...ARE!

Monk came to us with a special message.  Although it is a message I have been teaching for several years...almost to the letter...it does CONFIRM this message

The message?  LOVE!   Without it...NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!

There is... A LOVE WORTH FINDING!

This is the last e-mail I got from this person.

Beloved friend,
It comes time to bid you the fondest farewells. I am but a stranger
in this land, and the Lord calls me to move on. So I go as My Father
tells me. I will always remember you in prayer, praying always in the
Spirit to the Father, for your peace, safety and continued ministry to
others. Remember that God is LOVE. HE loved us so much He sent His Son
Jesus to pay the price for the sins of mankind. Many recently have told me
they wondered if God truly was there for them any longer.  Look at the
birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and
yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than
they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  God
Loves you much more than they, and will always be there to care for you
beloved.
Remember to love the unlovable. When others come against you, LOVE
them. When others hate you, LOVE them. Love is not naive or blind. When
you love in the love of God, you will recognize the faults, troubles
and failures in people. But dear children, do not lose faith in the
possibilities of what people might become. LOVE never gives up, knowing that
God can CHANGE lives for the better, for His kingdom!!  LOVE endures
all things, my friends. LOVE can and will accept any hardship, trial,
tribulation or rejection, and will continue unabated to build up and
encourage you and others. LOVE always, as My Father has loved you
Dear Kenneth, feel free to post this on all the groups you see fit,
if you feel it might be of encouragement and help to others. Ken,
remember always to gladly entertain others, for you will never know whom you
might actually be entertaining. God works in ways you will never
imagine, and send you comforters when you need them most
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in
knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is
best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with
the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory
and praise of God.

May the love of My Father be with you, as you love other for His
kingdom

My friend, if you do not know the ONE that loves YOU beyond all measure....come to JESUS today....HE is only a whisper away
