The hidden half of domestic violence
How to have eternal life
Surrounded by the Enemy
On December 16, 1944, the German Army
launched its last great
counter - offensive of World War II. The Battle of the Bulge was
meant to be Hitler's "last stand" in order to break apart and defeat
the Allied forces. Hitler believed the bond was weak between the
British, the US, and Russia. Hitler thought that he had enough
troops left to launch a surprise attack on the Western Front through
the thinly held line in the Belgian Ardennes Forest. He also
believed that factors such as bad weather, bad terrain, and the
Christmas holiday would help him to catch the Allies by surprise.
The Allies regarded the Ardennes as unsuitable for an attack, even
though, four years earlier, the German Blitzkrieg (Lightning War)
had shattered the Allied front which led to France's surrender
On the night before the battle, Hitler sent in troops to infiltrate
the front. Some were dropped by parachute, while others came in
driving captured American jeeps. These men spoke perfect English and
wore US uniforms. They managed to spread confusion by cutting off
telephone lines, giving false directions, and changing road signs.
On December 22, Hitler sent a message to American Major-General
Anthony Mcauliffe, at the Bartongre Garrison, telling him to
surrender. His response to Hitler's request was simply "Nuts!"
My friend, the allied forces were...surrounded by the enemy.
Everything looked hopeless but the price of failure would have been
too great. You see, this battle was taking place close to the
German homeland. The allies were getting too close and Hitler had
to do something bold to try to stop them.
Surrounded by the enemy! How often do we feel this way? We look
on all sides and all we can see are demon claws and demon hoofs.
Elijah felt this way. In 1 Kings 19:10 he said: "I have been very
jealous for the LORD God of hosts: for the children of Israel have
forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy
prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek
my life, to take it away."
Elijah thought he was alone in serving God. My friend, do you feel
this way? Do you feel surrounded by the enemy? Let us go on to see
the truth from God with Elijah.
In verse 18 we are told: "Yet I have left me seven thousand in
Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every
mouth which hath not kissed him."
The enemy of our soul also has it's infiltrators. Those who work within our churches and our Christian groups. For all outward appearances, they look like Christians but they do not know the LORD. Often we look to them rather then looking to God and when they fail us, we fall too. We explain this in detail in "Are they Really Christians" We see it in the Word of God very powerfully in Matthew 7
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Please notice these people were doing all one would expect a Christian to do, but they did not trust Christ for full payment for their sin.
We also see infiltrators in the parable of the wheat and the tares
parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a
man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Why would satan do this? It is the way he tries to destroy GOD's people by destroying the church. This will show how this can be done. satan's 8 Steps to the Destruction of Churches
Infiltrators are also used to reject
those that are seeking GOD. We have personally seen many Christian groups
reject and ban some because of their name or their ID. Far worse, the do
this as they represent Christ. I have heard many tell me that if that is
what a Christian is like, they do not want it. Many of these have come to
trust in Christ, but it has made the job of those who showed them true love so
If you are feeling surrounded by the enemy today, remember TWO out
of three angels STILL serve the Lord God almighty, the LORD of Host.
They were the smart ones.
2 Corinthians 4
8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are
perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
Even if we were alone, I assure you the Victory would be ours:
1 John 4
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come
in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist,
whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is
it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because
greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Although we may be surrounded by the enemy, the battle belongs to
the LORD...HE is the commander in chief. We have a major advantage
over the allied armies in the battle at the beginning of this
message. Our commander IS always WITH us. He has promised never to
leave us or forsake us.
I have had a demon try to intimidate me by telling me someone has
gone back to satan and are no longer serving God. Apart from
knowing demons lie, I told this demon that does not matter because
even though this person does not believe in eternal security..GOD
DOES and that is what matters.
Oh what is that I hear someone saying...Not in this battle? Think
you are going to sit this one out? Do not count on it my friend.
We are ALL in this battle like it or not. If we are children of
God, we are natural enemies to satan. If we have not trusted
Christ, we are enemies to God. There is no middle ground.
This message is being written to sound the alarm. We have too many
Christians that are AWOL from the front. They are absent without
leave. This is putting a heavier burden on their brothers and
sisters that are often weary from the battle. If YOU are AWOL my
friend, report to the Commander for duty today. He will welcome you
back with open arms.
There is a job for each of us. In Onward Christian soldiers
http://www.shatterdmen.com/OCS.htm it is pointed out how God reaches
out to everyone and makes sure every need for this battle is met.
I strongly feel we are in a major battle today my friend. I believe
it is a last ditch effort to break the lines of the LORD's army and
stop us from invading satan's realm. People, we have to stop being
Spiritual couch potatoes and get out of our comfort zones. satan
has a lot of captives we have to set free in the name of the LORD of
Host. Some of these captives are our own people. Those who have
backslidden. Those who have given up or are so wounded right now
they can not carry on.
As in the Battle of the Bulge, many forces came together to get the
job done. We have to come together also. We have to start working
together once again. Let us set aside any of these differences as
long as we agree that Jesus Christ is Lord and we have all trusted
HIM for our salvation..we are on the same side.
AFRAID of the battle? Don't be....look at the rules of war for us:
1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest
horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of
them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out
of the land of Egypt.
2 And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the
priest shall approach and speak unto the people,
3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day
unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear
not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;
4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for
you against your enemies, to save you
1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall
abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God;
in him will I trust.
3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and
from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt
thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the
arrow that flieth by day;
Surrounded by the enemy? Is he telling you to surrender? Tell him
NUTS! You see my friend, our LORD is an expert at snatching
VICTORY out of the claws of defeat! I have seen so often, that just
as we are about to be destroyed, it is the enemy who is destroyed.
We have and ON TIME GOD. He is seldom early..but NEVER late!
Just as Hitler was fighting to keep the allies out of the homeland,
satan knows time is short. We can not afford to ease up. We have
to sound the alarm, to get every Christian soldier on the front
lines. WE need PRAYER WARRIORS. I believe it is our prayer warriors
that are so important to those on the front lines. We do have
warriors that are deep behind enemy lines...people in areas that are
placing their very life and that of their families on the line to
declare Christ. We NEED to hold these men and women up to the LORD
Your pastors need prayer. The leadership of these Christian groups
need prayer. We are commanded to share one another's burdens and to
pray one for another.
Remember also, our commander in chief is much more then our
commanding general...HE is our DAD!
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;
but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba,
1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and
they that dwell therein.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand
in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted
up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness
from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy
face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye
everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD
mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye
everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of
Feeling surrounded by the enemy? Remember that the best
DEFENSE...is a good OFFENSE. It is for this reason, I urge each of
you to put the full Armour of God on
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power
of his might.
11 Put on the whole Armor of God, that ye may be able to stand
against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness
of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole Armor of God, that ye may be
able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and
having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be
able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for
19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may
open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Wait for HIS command...and then.....CHARGE!!!!!!!!
