SATANIC ATTACK.....OR IS IT?

Hien Pham was a Vietnamese Christian who in 1971 was an interpreter for an American who was in Viet Nam preaching the Gospel to our servicemen when he was speaking to the local Vietnamese.

When South Viet Nam fell to the communist Mr Hien was arrested and accused of helping the Americans. His captors pounded him daily with Communist propaganda and were indoctrinating him against the Bible. Finally the teachings of evolution, Marx, and Engles began to take their toil. Mr Hien thought perhaps he was lied to and maybe God does not exist or He would not allow him to be tortured like this. He then decided not to pray any more.

The next day, he was assigned to clean the prison toilets. His eye caught a piece of used toilet paper with English words on it. He grabbed it, washed the human waste off from it and put it in his pocket.

After everyone was asleep, he took that piece of paper out of his pocket and read it.

"and we know that all things work together for good to them that love God...For I am persuaded that ..(nothing). shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus.

Hein wept. He knew his Bible and he knew there was not a more relevant passage for one on the verge of despair. He cried out to God asking forgiveness for his plan not to pray any more. But God had other plans. What his tormentors were using for toilet paper, the Holy scriptures, Hein found to be his precious treasure.

The next day he volunteered to clean the toilets regularly. It was then that Mr Hien found that an officer was using the Bible as toilet paper so each day Hien found another page of Scripture, cleaned it off, and added it to his growing collection and READ it with unspeakable Joy.

Much later, by God's mercy, Mr Hien was released from prison. He began to construct a boat to escape from Viet Nam along with 53 others. Shortly before they were to leave, four Communist soldiers knocked on his door and said they heard of his planned escape. Mr Hien lied to them and they left. However, Mr Hien knew that God told him HE would be our shield and defense and that we are not to Lie...so he told God if they returned, he would tell them the truth.

Just hours before they were to leave...the soldiers returned and questioned him again. Mr Hien kept his word to the Lord and told them the truth.

Mr Hein was astonished when the four in hushed tones asked if they could go with them.

The escape plan went well until a violent storm engulfed them on the high seas. The 54 civilians were too weak to do much of anything. They would have surly died on that sea however these four soldiers were healthy and strong and their sailing ability saved the boat. They arrived safely in Thailand. He is now a business man in the United States and gives this testimony of God mercy and provision for His children.

Oh My Lord...forgive us...forgive ME for those times I take YOUR precious Word for granted...for those times If feel it is a chore to read them.

forgive us for those little untruths...those LIES we tell to make our life more comfortable instead of depending on YOU to defend us as Your Word tells us in Psalms 91

My wonderful Lord, thank You for the new meaning Your love and mercy to Mr Hien has given ME to Romans 8 which shows that Your can even use those that intend to mock You, to destroy You to bring Honor and Glory and Power to You My Lord.

Lord, bless Mr Hien greatly where ever he may be. And Lord, help us as we look at that Bible sitting on our desk, so often so neat and clean, and help us remember what Mr Hien had to endure to read Your Word.... Thank You Jesus for Your Love for ME..

I recently placed the  post above in several Christian clubs I am in.    Since I know many people who believe we can only use one version or another of the Bible,  I then asked  a question.  IF  this paper that this man found was a version of scripture other then what WE think is the right one, should he have thrown it away and remained in despair?   I did not realize the debate this would cause but I did want to open people's eyes to the fact that GOD can speak in many ways... why if HE can speak through a donkey...can he not speak through the KJV,  the NIV or anyone of several versions?  My membership in one club was deleted although I have only stressed that we need to let LOVE ABOUND.  After a couple of weeks I rejoined just to post this since several of the "this version ONLY" people insisted they  were under satanic attack.  This group also     questioned the salvation of a man because a person said she was able to lead him to GOD instead of saying she was able to led him to Christ.   The question I now ask each of you...is God limited to one group and one group alone?  To one version of scripture and one alone?  YES  we do have to do things HIS way...but is HIS way  OUR way?   If I were to hear my pastor tell  people they had to attend our church to be saved....I would find a new church.  Christianity is based on  a relationship,  NOT a religion....but a relationship with Almighty God,  the creator of the universe,  a relationship so close, we are able to call GOD......DADDY!

Since I was deleted from this club for nothing more then asking a question...I have been following these posts.  

I see a lot of things very similar to my main ministry.  Abused MEN.  Men are battered as often as women are except that women do not see their actions as abusive.   When a man is abused, he is blamed for his abuse... and the woman is excused.  I have posted often in feminist forums with very similar responses as I see here.. Wait Marie...before you hit that delete button READ WHAT I HAVE TO SAY....

I posted the question to Hein Pham for a reason. to show that God CAN and DOES speak through ways we can not understand. I asked a  question that covers BOTH sides.  I asked only that if this were some other version then the one we think it has to be. should he have thrown it away and stayed in dispair?  I did not get an answer to that question.   (these were post 128 and 129)

I do not have a habit of defending myself NOR asking anyone to do it for me.   However I have been called a yellow belly coward from one that has not responded to my replies.  I have seen this person post that NO ONE ever got saved by saying a prayer and certainly not the sinners prayer.

Now I see a "pastor" challenging the salvation of a man simply because the person posted the good news said he came to God instead of saying he came to Christ.  MY GOD>>>>> can we condemn someone to HELL that easy?

I do feel that if this man posted what he did here........he would be on his way to hell.  It was because the person that asked him to forgive her let LOVE ABOUND... and that is still something I can not find here. not from even a "pastor".

I personally am very careful not to give anyone a false sense of security...by telling them to believe in Christ and have them have a head knowledge but not a saving heart knowledge.
As Patti knows we post the plan of salvation and refer to it often in our clubs.
I also note that too often we try to do the job of the Holy Spirit and thus drive so many away from Christ.  For example....how many of you when this man told us he did not want to leave his religion would have told him he HAD to leave it to be saved?  If you would have.... PLEASE do NOT sing JUST AS I AM WITHOUT ONE PLEA as you would be singing a lie.  You see, when he trust Christ for salvation....he will be able to see his need to do so...we do not need to demand he does so before he is saved.

now for the nitty gritty.  I have been teaching on Spiritual warfare.  I often hear satan being blamed for things he has NOTHING to do with.  Some say we are under satanic attack. but IS IT?

Now listen and listen good...if we give satan credit for something he did not do...and especially if  GOD is trying to give us a message...is not that an act of worship to satan?

Now read some scriptures to see what I am talking about.  When we hear things WE do not want to hear.. we are fast to say the messenger is from satan. Is it?

Matthew 13
56  And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
57  And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
58  And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief

You see, the prophets were often told they got the message from satan.... (and I am not saying I am a prophet so forget it)

Matthew 7
15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Umm we have seen the fruit of one tree here because love was allowed to abound...how about yours?

Matthew 10
24  The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25  It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?

Umm so they even called JESUS CHRIST a servant of satan.....guess I have good company.

I have tried to show nothing but love here...yet I am accused of starting ALL the problems.. well the problems were already here....it takes  TWO to argue... but nothing was said to those who started name calling.

I could send you e-mails I have from some of your treasured members...but that is not the issue..

MY main point was and has been and will always be that love abounds.. but lets not say something is from satan without checking to see if God has a message for US first...

Psalms 139

23  Search Me O God, and Know My Heart, Try me and Know My thoughts,
24  And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

You do not need to go to the members list to delete me...I am leaving and will not be back anymore..... unless invited...BUT I will not be so presumptuous to think that "such a man of God as I would be needed to clean up this club"   as I know I am merely doing only what God tells me to do...even if HE is not given the credit....I do....for I am nothing without HIM.

Matthew 10:14  And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.



Ezekiel 33
5   He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
6   But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.
7   So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

The warn has been sounded...now it is up to YOU to let LOVE ABOUND.
